Coach Agreement

Effective date: September 4, 2026

1. What This Agreement Is

This Coach Agreement is the understanding between you, the coach, and SportsReps. It explains how our marketplace works, what we expect from you, and what you can expect from us. By offering services on SportsReps, you accept this agreement.

Plain and simple: SportsReps connects you with families. You run your own coaching business. We handle discovery, booking, scheduling, payment collection, and communication tools.

2. You Are an Independent Coach

You are an independent contractor, not an employee, partner, or agent of SportsReps. You set your own prices, session lengths, availability, packages, and training methods. You decide which clients to accept.

You are responsible for your own business expenses, insurance, taxes, licenses, and compliance with any laws or regulations that apply to coaching in your area, including any required background checks.

3. Verification and Safety Standards

To help families make informed choices, SportsReps may verify credentials and safety certifications that you upload. A "Verified" badge means we have reviewed the documents you provided — it is not an endorsement or guarantee of your services.

You agree to keep your certifications current and to immediately update your profile if any credential expires, is revoked, or becomes inaccurate.

4. Code of Conduct — Required Standards

Most of the athletes on SportsReps are minors. These standards are conditions of offering your services on the platform. Violating them can result in reduced visibility, suspension, or permanent removal.

Professionalism: treat every athlete, parent, and fellow coach with respect. Harassment, discrimination, bullying, intimidation, or abusive language of any kind is prohibited.

Integrity: be honest in your profile, credentials, and marketing. Never misstate your experience, certifications, or results. Never continue training an athlete against medical advice or while hiding a disqualifying background.

Sessions: show up on time and prepared, deliver the training you advertised, and honor the cancellation terms you publish. Never train under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and never use tobacco in front of athletes.

Stay on the platform: keep all communication with families inside SportsReps messaging, and never ask a family to pay you directly, off-platform, in cash, or through any other payment app. Keeping bookings and messages on the platform protects you — there is a clear record if a dispute ever arises.

Boundaries: no romantic, sexual, or intimate conduct of any kind with an athlete or their family, regardless of the athlete’s age. No personal relationships that conflict with your professional role.

5. Zero-Tolerance Child Safety Policy

SportsReps has ZERO TOLERANCE for child abuse, neglect, or endangerment in any form. There is no warning, no probation, and no second chance for violations of this section: the result is immediate and permanent removal from the platform, forfeiture of pending earnings and placements, and a report to law enforcement and child protective authorities where appropriate.

Prohibited conduct includes: any sexual abuse, sexualized communication, or grooming behavior toward a minor; physical abuse or physical discipline; emotional abuse, humiliation, or threats; neglect or endangerment; and any failure to report suspected abuse as described below.

Never be alone with a minor out of sight of others: sessions with minors must take place in public or verified training facilities, or with the parent or another responsible adult present. Never conduct a session with a minor in a private residence or behind closed doors without the parent present.

No off-platform contact with minors: never give a minor your personal phone number, social media, or contact information; never message, text, call, or follow a minor on personal channels; and never communicate with an athlete except through their parent or through SportsReps messaging.

No transportation of minors unless the parent has given explicit written consent in advance.

No secrets, gifts, or favoritism: never ask an athlete to keep a secret from their parents, never give individual gifts outside normal professional practice, and never single out an athlete for special private attention.

No photos or video of an athlete without the parent’s consent under our Video Consent terms.

Mandatory reporting: if you suspect a minor is being abused or endangered — by anyone, including a parent or another coach — you must immediately report it to law enforcement or child protective services as required by your state’s mandatory reporter laws, and notify SportsReps at sportsrepsusa@gmail.com.

No retaliation: retaliating against anyone who reports a safety concern, in any way, is itself a zero-tolerance violation.

Acknowledging this policy is a condition of having a coach profile on SportsReps. If you cannot follow every part of this section, do not offer services on the platform.

6. Sessions, Bookings, and Cancellations

You control your availability calendar, and families book directly into the windows you publish. When a booking is made, you are expected to show up prepared and on time.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, do it as early as possible through the platform so the family can adjust. Repeated last-minute cancellations can result in reduced visibility or removal from the marketplace.

After each completed session, we encourage you to write a session note — what you worked on, progress observed, and next steps. Families value this, and it drives repeat bookings.

7. Payments and Service Fees

Families pay through the platform using Stripe. You always receive your full published price: clients you bring to SportsReps with your personal link pay a small 3% processing fee on top of your rate (covering card processing), and for new clients who find you through SportsReps the platform fee (15% standard, 10% for Founding Coaches) is collected separately — never deducted from the price you publish to families.

Payouts go to your connected Stripe account on the platform’s standard payout schedule. You are responsible for reporting and paying your own taxes; SportsReps does not withhold taxes.

Package purchases are prepaid credits for your sessions only, and are non-transferable to other coaches.

8. Reviews and Community Standards

Families can review you after completed sessions. Reviews belong to the community, and we do not remove them simply because they are critical. If you believe a review is fraudulent or violates our standards, you may report it.

You are also welcome in the SportsReps community forum. Sharing expertise is a great way to build your reputation — always keep it professional and respectful.

9. Content You Post

You own the content you post on your profile and in the community (bios, photos, notes, forum posts). You give SportsReps permission to display and use that content in connection with operating and promoting the platform.

Only post content you have the right to share — including photos and videos of athletes, which require the parent’s consent under our Video Consent terms.

10. Promotional Placements

If you purchase a featured or boost placement, you get elevated visibility for the stated period. Placement improves visibility; it does not guarantee bookings, and refunds are not offered once a placement period has run.

11. Term and Termination

You may stop offering services on SportsReps at any time. We may suspend or remove your profile for violations of this agreement, unsafe conduct, or anything that puts the community — especially minors — at risk.

If your profile is removed for reasons other than serious misconduct, we will work with you to complete or refund any outstanding booked sessions.
