SportsReps is a platform that connects youth athletes, parents, coaches, facilities, teams, and communities. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

This policy applies to everyone who uses SportsReps — parents, coaches, athletes, and guests browsing the site.

Information you give us directly: your name, email address, password, and account type when you register; athlete profile details (name, age, sport, position, goals); coach profile details (bio, sports, pricing, certifications); messages you send through the platform; booking and payment details; equipment listings; forum posts and replies; and video or photo files you upload.

Information collected automatically: your device type, browser, and basic usage data that help us keep the platform working and understand how features are used.

Payment information: we do not store your card details. Payments are handled by Stripe, our third-party payment processor, under their privacy policy.

The core of SportsReps is youth sports, so we handle information about minors carefully. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children. All athlete profiles are created and controlled by a parent or legal guardian account.

We only ask for the minimum information needed to support an athlete’s development — for example, their first name, age, sport, and goals. We never ask for sensitive information about minors beyond what is needed for training.

If you believe a minor has provided us information without guardian consent, contact us and we will remove it.

We use your information to: operate the platform (create your profile, process bookings, deliver messages); process payments and coach payouts; send you service-related notifications like booking reminders; personalize your experience; verify coaches and keep the community safe; and improve and support the platform.

Marketing emails are only sent if you opt in, and every one includes an option to stop receiving them.

We share information only as needed to run the platform:

Coaches you book can see the athlete details and notes needed to prepare for and run the session.

Parents can see the coach’s session notes, progress updates, and messages related to their athletes.

Stripe processes payments and payouts with the details needed to complete those transactions.

Service providers we rely on (such as hosting, email delivery, and analytics) get only the data needed to perform their function.

We may disclose information if legally required or to protect the safety of our users, especially minors. We do not sell your personal information.

Videos and photos you upload (for example, for coach video reviews) are shared with the coach you choose for feedback. Please read our Parent/Guardian & Athlete Terms and Video Consent page for details on how this content is used and how to revoke consent.

We keep your information only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account and personal information at any time, and we will comply within applicable legal requirements.

You can: review and update your profile information at any time; ask us for a copy of your data; ask us to correct or delete your data; and opt out of marketing communications at any time. To make any of these requests, contact us at the email below.

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, such as encryption in transit and access controls. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so please keep your password safe and tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the platform before they take effect. The current version is always available on this page.
