Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the SportsReps platform, including the website, mobile apps, and all services offered through them (collectively, the "Platform"). SportsReps connects youth athletes, parents, coaches, and sports communities for training, development, and discovery.

By creating an account, browsing as a signed-in user, or using any feature of the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and accept these Terms on your own behalf. Parents or legal guardians may create and manage accounts for the purpose of booking training and managing the development of their minor athletes. Users under 18 may only use the Platform through and under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

SportsReps is a marketplace and community platform. We are not a party to any agreement between you and a coach, facility, team, group, event organizer, or buyer/seller on the Platform. We do not employ, supervise, or directly train athletes.

While we facilitate discovery, booking, scheduling, payments, and communication, all coaching services, facility use, events, and marketplace transactions are provided by independent third parties. You are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability, safety, and qualifications of any coach, facility, team, or organizer before engaging with them.

Coaches on the Platform set their own prices, availability, session terms, and packages. When you book a session or purchase a package, you enter into a direct agreement with that coach. SportsReps facilitates the booking and processes payment through our third-party payment processor (Stripe), and applies a platform service fee to transactions.

Session packages are prepaid credits for use with the specific coach who offered them. Package credits are non-transferable between coaches. Refund, cancellation, and rescheduling terms are as communicated by the coach at booking unless otherwise stated; payment disputes should be raised through Platform support.

Coaches are independent contractors and are solely responsible for their own taxes, insurance, licenses, and compliance with any applicable coaching regulations. More detail is in our Coach Agreement.

SportsReps may verify certain coach credentials and safety certifications ("Verified" status). However, verification does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of any coach’s background, conduct, or services, and we do not guarantee that all coaches have been screened. Parents remain responsible for supervising their athletes and exercising judgment about all training arrangements, including in-person sessions and locations.

We encourage all users to report concerning conduct to us immediately. We reserve the right to suspend or remove any user at our discretion.

The Platform is intended to support youth athletics. Harassment, bullying, inappropriate contact with minors, sexual or abusive content, discrimination, or any conduct that endangers or demeans young athletes is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal and, where appropriate, referral to authorities.

Messages, session notes, forum posts, and other content shared through the Platform must remain appropriate, respectful, and related to training, development, or community discussion. Coaches and parents should keep all communication within the Platform.

You retain ownership of content you post (posts, replies, reviews, videos, images), but you grant SportsReps a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and use that content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.

You may not post content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or that you do not have the right to post. Video submissions for coach review should feature you or your own athlete, and you confirm you have consent to share all content uploaded — see our Parent/Guardian & Athlete Terms and Video Consent page for details.

Some community features may be restricted to Premium members, as described on the Platform.

The equipment marketplace allows users to list and browse sporting goods for sale. SportsReps is not a party to any sale, does not guarantee the condition, authenticity, or legality of any item, and does not process marketplace payments unless stated otherwise.

Sellers are responsible for accurately describing items and for complying with all applicable laws. Buyers and sellers transact at their own risk and should take reasonable precautions when meeting in person or arranging payment.

Premium memberships are optional paid subscriptions offering benefits such as discounts and exclusive community access, as described on the Platform. Memberships renew automatically until cancelled and may be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Prices and benefits may change with notice.

SportsReps charges a service fee on facilitated transactions and may offer paid promotional placements (such as featured coach status). Fees are disclosed before you complete a purchase. You are responsible for any applicable taxes on services you purchase or income you earn through the Platform.

The SportsReps name, logo, design, and all Platform software and content (excluding user content) are the property of SportsReps and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from the Platform without our written permission.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT COACHES’ OR SELLERS’ SERVICES WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SportsReps, its owners, and its employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any damages arising from the acts or omissions of third-party coaches, facilities, organizers, or users. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Platform is limited to the amount you paid to SportsReps in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SportsReps from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for violation of these Terms, for conduct we reasonably believe is harmful to users or the Platform, or as otherwise necessary to operate the Platform. You may stop using the Platform at any time; these provisions that should survive termination (including sections 7, 12, 13, and 14) will remain in effect.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform, and continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The current version is always available at this page with its effective date.
